Therapy for Highly Sensitive Parents
Because it’s Time to Put You First
Therapy and resources for highly sensitive parents to help you figure out how to take care of yourself so you can be there for them
Therapy and resources for highly sensitive parents dealing with their own “stuff.”
There is nothing like parenthood to magnify the problems that maybe always existed, but suddenly show up full force as you’re trying to raise the next generation. If you’re like most of my clients, you might be devoting every last ounce of energy to your children, your spouse, your job, and your community, and at the end of the day, still feel like you’re failing.
You might struggle to take time for yourself as each act of self-care is accompanied by a mountain of guilt. And this guilt may be so powerful that it convinces you you’re doing something wrong or selfish.
If you’re like most of my clients, you might scour the internet searching for guidance on each step of the parenting journey, trying to figure out what are normal childhood behaviors and normal parenting responses because you constantly doubt yourself.
You might go to bed each night with a list of worries running through your head and wake up each morning already spinning because anxiety has been a constant presence in your life.
Like my clients, you deserve to finally untangle yourself from the burdens of failure, guilt, self-doubt and anxiety. You truly can find calm amidst the chaos of parenthood, and I’d love to help you get there. Call now. I can help.
Welcome.
I’m so glad you’re here. As a fellow parent and HSP (highly sensitive person), I know that you’ve already got a lot on your plate, and I want to help lessen that load. Here you can expect to find information, support, and services for parenting stress, trauma recovery, difficult childhood experiences, chronic guilt, perfectionism, overachievement, highly sensitive people, and personal growth. Everything I bring to the table is grounded in research and training, but implemented with care. I hope you find it helpful.
